Soup Kitchen IV, 5/2/15

On Thursday 5th February I participated at Soup Kitchen IV, a fantastic one night art exhibition curated by Alexander Nicholas and hosted in the Bohunk Institute.”Soup Kitchen is an eclectic night of creative talent from in and around Nottingham, showcasing various forms of creative talent. It brings together art, poetry, and performance for a one night event in a fantastic art gallery in the heart of Nottingham’s creative quarter.”Images by David Wayman.

FORMAT15 Press Launch

I currently intern at FORMAT International Photography festival. As well as being a recipient of the graduate award, being involved with the festival from an organisational position is a real privilege. This week, I was present for the press launch at Central St Martins College and Kings Cross, London. Being around people involved in contemporary photography and hearing speakers was really exciting, and I can’t wait for the festival to commence.

Find out more about the festival here
Follow the facebook page here
The festival runs from 13th March - 12th April 2015 in Derby.

Last weekend I went to Norwich to hang out with some of my best friends. A really nice city and really nice friends, shame it’s in the middle of nowhere. 3hours of flat landscape from anywhere. Here are some portraits.

Chris is a musician who plays in a band called Reno Dakota, and has two solo projects called Hello Pedro and Komorebi komorebi.

Jobey is a talented illustrator who lives with Chris and is a really interesting guy to hang out with.
