The Art House, Wakefield Residency

Starting on the 6th October, I shall be one of 4 artists in residence for the month at The Art House in Wakefield. I’m really looking forward to the support of the staff and networks they have there, as well as being supplied with facilities and space to make work for a month. This is an opportunity I couldn’t refuse. Hopefully it will culminate in an exhibition. I’ll be blogging more actively as I work.

Just a quick update to prove that I haven’t fallen off the face of the earth. I’ve spent the summer all over the place (well, the uk) and enjoyed some freedom, but now I’m ready to get back to work. I have two confirmed exhibitions coming up in November and March, and a residency in October, so i’m pretty psyched about that.
Not started anything new yet but have plenty of journals started, so it’s only a matter of time. Until then, here’s a little holiday snap from Ireland.

This week I am currently exhibiting in the town of Ilkeston, just north of Derby and Nottingham. rEvive is a project which takes over vacant shops and fills them with local art. I am sharing the space with several other graduates of the University of Derby and Nottingham Trent University. It’s a super space, and I love the notion of taking over empty shops for galleries. I will be there until the takedown on Sunday 21st, so don’t miss this unique show! For further information, check

University is over! London exhibition was pretty awesome. Velcro is an incredible hanging tool. The Rag Factory on Heneage Street is also pretty decent. Worth contacting them for future exhibitions. Here’s a photo of my work on the wall. Now to see what summer has for me.
